FAQ

Below is a list of some of the more frequent questions we are asked. If you can’t find an answer to your particular question on this page or would like to discuss something in more detail please contact us using the form on our ‘contact us’ page

Q. How often should I have my windows cleaned?

A, For most people, once a month is fine.

Q. How high can you reach to clean windows?

A. Using our Pure Water System and extending poles we can clean windows up to 55′ above ground level.

Q. What is a ‘Pure Water system’

A. The water we use is filtered and de-ionized leaving us with water containing less than 5 parts per million of TDS (total dissolved solids). By way of comparison. Drinking water can contain up to 240 parts per million! This means that due to their being no contaminants in the water, the glass will dry clear without water spots. You can find a more detailed explanation of this system on this page.

Q. After you left some marks appeared on my window, is there a reason for, this?

A. Very occasionally, on the first or second window clean with purified water, you can get a run down the window (dirty brown or white). This happens after the window cleaner has cleaned the windows and has now gone. The purified water used to clean the windows has probably got into the top window seal. Purified water is like a magnet to dirt and has come in contact with old dirt or old soap under the seal, attracted it, then run down the glass after the window cleaner has gone. The water then dries and leaves only the impurities it picked up, thus you get a dirty stain or white soap stain on the glass.

I tell my new residential customers that this can ‘occasionally’ happen, and to simply call me if it does and I will come round and re-clean the window ASAP – for free of course. After one or two cleans with a water fed pole cleaning method, this can’t happen again (if the job has been done right) as all the old ingrained dirt and soap is cleaned away.

Q. What hours do you work?

A. We appreciate that not everybody works regular office hours and that sometimes getting the job done needs a flexible approach – we will always try our best to accommodate you.

Q. Do you work weekends?

A. Yes. Many offices, doctors and dental surgeries will find it inconvenient to have their windows cleaned during working hours with Saturdays or Sundays the only time they find suitable. We are available seven days a week to satisfy the needs of  such clients.

Q. Part of the terms of my tenancy is to have the windows cleaned. Can you do ‘one off’ end of tenancy/ end of lease cleans?

A. Yes, many landlords and letting agencies will require the windows to be cleaned before returning your deposit. Contact us for a quote and to book an appointment.

Q. Do you clean the windows of large properties?

A. Yes! We stress that there is no job too big. Please contact us for a quote and to discuss your requirements.

Q. You are based in Bexhill, what areas do you cover?

A. This is a difficult question to answer as we have clients all over East Sussex. Most of our domestic clients are in The Bexhill, Sidley, Pebsham, Little Common, Collington, Cooden, Hastings and St Leonards areas but our business customers are as far afield as Rye, Hailsham and Eastbourne.

Q. Do you offer account facilities to businesses and how do we pay you?

A. We accept payment via cash, bank transfer, Paypal – using our payment system, please remember that you don’t need a Paypal account to pay us by Paypal. For details of business account facilities please contact us
